LEAD Success!

The six children Nations Ministry Center is supporting at LEAD Academy, a Nashville charter school, are doing well and the fifth graders recently participated in a science fair. Fall Preschool has started!

The fall programming for the preschool has started, and it's going great! Heather Cain has created amazing lesson plans and activities so that the 9 children who attend will be ready for Kindergarten! We have an amazing group of volunteers that continue to stay committed to this program, and some new volunteers we are excited to welcome. Nations Ministry Center is serving children in the preschool from Burundi, Sudan and Egypt all between the ages of 20 months to 4 years. The pictures posted are of the kids learning with Ms. Laura Hill, and look closely, you can see the baby dolls strapped to their backs!

Nations Academy is Back!

Our after-school program, Nations Academy, is back and going strong! Special thanks to all those who have volunteered. We are especially privileged to have 12 middle school refugee youth who join us every afternoon for a snack, homework help, computer time, individualized tutoring, and a little fun. Each of the children we partner with has a special background and unique opportunities for service.
